I would try 5 psi all 'round, then adjust from there. I have these tires on my Foreman, they are awesome for the terrain you will encounter in Pa., I would think.
See my signature for my P-650 tires. These are in 26".

I have 26" Titan m/t on my P650. I run them at 3psi front and 4psi back. I do a lot of rock crawling and that seems to work for me.........MJSTX

Careful here. I have titan 489 X/t's and at 4.5 lbs both rear inside beads came unseated while riding. The tire says 7 lb max. I've been running them at 6 lbs now for a few weeks and that seems to be working well. This may not relate to 589's though. Just my 2 cents

450 Foreman-- Those are two totally different tires. Interesting that your 489's came unseated at 4.5 psi, though.

Haynes1111 -- Tire pressure can be adjusted for the type of riding you are doing. Rock crawling usually would require you to reduce pressure. Faster riding usually requires higher pressures. Low pressure doesn't lend itself well to high speed riding because of sidewall flex. Corner hard with low pressure tires and you run the risk of knocking the tire's bead off the rim and losing ALL tire pressure. Now preference comes into play as well. Say you are planning a day of trail riding... You may choose 5 psi for the ride, or all the way up to the max rating on the tire. The harder the tire, the less flex it will have. This translates into a harsher ride of course. I wouldn't run less than 5 psi on any ride that would include fast riding.
