i need advice from someone who is familiar or has used this kit before. i want the 330 kit for my mojave, how much will FST charge me for the kit plus the installation? do i have to change any other engine components (cams, porting, carb)? also will i notice big gains or should i go all out and port it, carb it, and cam it?

For mickey to do it, just a guess but I would say in the $1200 nieghberhood. The mojave needs the cases bored to accept the larger sleeve that the 330 kit uses.

As far as what you need else for this kit, nothing. But with porting cams carb and rev limiter removed the performance is much better.

If you made a plan to do such a motor, do a 330, port mid-top, install what ever valves and springs you need then get the rest of the stuff down the road.

Keep in mind mega-cycle sells a kit as well. Stock bore 11.5:1 wiesco piston, valves, springs and cams for around $500. Porting and black box mod are extra. This is a very good fast kit as well.
