Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, so for me I don't find it the prettiest thing out there. I've only seen pictures of it so far but it's not my style, but then I wouldn't buy a quad just cause it's pretty. Like most opinions on drum brakes I have to agree that Honda could have gone disc especially on a new machine as such, there's just no reason for them not to.

Anyway it will be interesting to hear reports on this quad when more of them are around I quess.

Let me say that these types of forums are fun and entertaining...to a point. This forum appears to be a "front" where some fellow Kawi owners want to be reassured that they made the right purchase. They want to be coddled and comforted that the P650 is the finest machine out there. Hell, if your that insecure take the $1,500 bucks you saved by NOT buying the rincon and get youself some therapy.

One other thing... when you open a forum up like this in the Honda section...you make us all look like a bunch of insecure ninnies.

I have no regrets buying the 650, but in 2 years, you can bet something bigger and badder will emerge (if the CPSC stays away). I try to use these forums for information and some entertainment. But this one was over the top in terms of maturity.

I don't understand (not condeming) I just really don't understand why some people are so brand loyal. Other than providing a good fun ride, when is the last time Kawa, Yamaha, Honda, Bomb, Cheverolet, Dodge, or Ford did anything for you?? You pay them for a service/product. If you don't like what they are doing, then use your freedom to look elsewhere.

 

Actually, GM, and Ford have done bad things to me by donating money to organizations that work toward closing recreationally used public land. I really don't appreciate that.

No, honda never did anything mean to me that I can think of. I do tend to get anti-honda mouthed sometimes because they continually make things that have little appeal to me.

However, if honda made a quad that is quicker, faster, better handling, braking, has more mud tire turning umph and costs less than my 650, I would be very interested in it. And, I would be very interested in other people's honest oppinions about it.

 

well,I think some people need to relax a bit..loosen up the "ol sphincter a little...some of us were just having a bit'o fun..
and I still think it looks like the space shuttle.
