Don't overlook the Titan 489XT? I believe it is.

Someone here has these on the front and 589's rear...

The spider tracs are a very tough 4-ply. Not 6.

I think I'm gonna order the 26" bear claws tomorrow. I've always liked the tread pattern on them. Anyone have anything bad to say about these tires? Like I said above, I'm looking at something for trail mainly, some rock climbing, and mud now and then. thanks for all your help.

They are a little on the heavy side.

27x12x12 Bearclaw 31.5lbs.
27x12x12 Dirtdevil 32lbs.
27x12x12 Tri-Claws 33.6lbs.
27x12x12 HL Outlaws 35.4lbs.

The Bearclaws are heavy compared to stockers but are not compared to other 6-ply tires.

Where do you get those weights from?

Two online tire stores say the 27x12-12 Bearclaw is 35, 36 lbs, which is quite heavy for a not so aggressive tire. I always thought they were heavy because of that. www.teesoffroad.com and www.tiresunlimited.com

Go to highlifter.com, under Online Catalog, under tire spec database...

The goodyear runflats are more expensive but in the long run they last twice as long, (I got 16000km on mine). So if you are looking to save a high quality tire might be better.
