Prairie 650 Dunlops
#41
I really did not have much chance to ride since I installed them. I did notice in the little riding I have done that the sideway does not collapse when all the weight of the quad is on one front tire like the dunlops did.
I actually saw these 489xt's at walmart the other day. They are $54 there, but at least you could see them.

Conman, did you weigh those bearclaws yourself? How?
I am just curious as to how far off the data on some of those websites really is.
I am also thinking about a really wide tire to go on the rear for riding in the snow.

nyroc-- My suggestion is M/T 589's for snow/mud. These tires kicked @$$ on my Foreman-S last winter!
BTW--- My eduation expands. My belt is making some strange noises at low speeds, time to inspect the (too much) deflection, and the belt itself. I have 750mi/92 hr on it......its time! Wish me luck!

My tires came yesterday and got put ont he rims today. The 489 is almost identical to the stock dunlop front with the tread design. But the sur trac looks great. I cant wait to actually test it out. I'll let you all know when I do test it. Thank you everyone for your help.

Finally got to test out the new tires. Put about 25 miles on them tonight over a variety of terrain. They did great everywhere. They hookedup in the mud good. Very happy with my purchase. Thanks again for all your help everyone.
