You'll definately need to rejet for elevation. Kaw. stock jetting is for 1000 above sea level, anything higher they need rejetted. I don't think you'll be able to find 1 jetting for ranges of 4-10k. Find out where you'll be spending most of your time and jet for it, or just aim for the middle ground.

When ya heading out to Utah? I going out the first of Sept. I'm staying in Marysvale and will be riding the Paiute trail. I've got my new jet's (the ones the manual calls for for the ~5000 to 10000 altitude.)

Have you considered Dial-a-Jet? According to their website you can have perfect jetting at every altitude. I'm buying one soon.

Marysvale is a great place to start for the Piaute. Just do a little research in advance to find the type of trails you want to ride....The routes vary from very easy roads to thin technical trails. I hope you guys have a great trip here.

Dash,
Hope to spend the better part of a week riding the trails. One of my goals is to ride the loop (main trail 01) over the course of the week. I've got the trail map and book and GPS info, so hopefully I won't get lost too bad! I've already talked to a couple of the locals, and everyone seems very helpfull. I know there is too much to see in one week.......so I guess I will just have to go back again!
