ok the MOCATE is a hybrid mojave with a 87tecate 3powervalved motor in it.
i have less then a $1000 into this entire project.and it turned out better then i thought it would.
yeah i know it doesn't look like much kind of rusty .but this machine feels like its brand new,it's very tight handles good for a mojave,it doesn't rattle and doesn't feel all clapped out like alot of machines that i see with conversions.
i will say that this little machine is a handful, the front is so light it wheelies in 4th and 5th quite easily.it makes for a fun little trail machine though and for a measly $1000 i will ride the snot of it.heres some pics.mocate pic 1

the motor is solid mounted and it's the same as a kx250 motor.the 86-87 kx250 motor is the exact same motor as the the 86-87 tecate 3's.
the brackets were all pretty easy to weld in.and a stock tecate 3 pipe with a couple minor adjustments works and fits great.
and if you want a 250r motor i have one available.complete running 86 trx250r motor with electronics.$1000
