ok me on my lakota my buddy on a borrowed lakota and his bro on a 300 ex. we take of to the trails aint in there 10 mins and i go to downshift and the shifter goes all the way down uh oh get towed back and take the cover of exposing the clutches and the weld where the shifterrod is welded to a plate is broke so we attempt to weld it back we have to rake the other lakota apart to see how the spring goes on we get it welded and put both back together now it doesnt want to go in gear you shift into 1st the light goes out let it back down to take off and neutral light comes back on i got the weld as close bact to the old weld as i could can i adjust this any where else if not got any idea how much the peice is next we go back in the woods after 2 hrs its dark aint in there 10 mins and in the same spot my buddys lakota throws chain and put hole in case where the front sprocket is can u patch this and if not how much is the cover well i towed him back home and what one hell of a night

"BUMMER" Ive never had that much bad luck on my Lakota Sport.Im taking her out for a drive this afernoon,hope nothing happens to me or my "little blue mule".Laters quad Pals!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I can't help you on the shifting problem, but the cover for the transmission is only about $25. I have replaced 3 on my Lakota. Let me guess, it broke where the chain guard attaches to the cover, right???
