tires revisited
#1
ok, i've gone through and reread some of the posts about tires, and i have a few questions for you guys. Most of the posts talk about the tires mud ability, i get in the mud a little but i'm more concerned about the trail riding qualities, and the rock climbing qualities, mixed in with a little mud. I'm looking at the 26" spidertracs, the 27 blackwaters, and the 26 or 27 itp 589's. any comments???

Dude, I wouldn't buy the ITP 589s, buy the Titan 589s instead. WAY cheaper and they work just as good. I got the 589 M/S on my 650 and I love them. I do a lot of technical trail riding and a lot of log hopping and rock crawling. They work great but they are heavy and suck power big time. They are virtually indestructible as they are six ply but they will make your 650 ride a lot more harsh. If you are loving the power your 650 is giving you with your stockers, you won't love it anymore if you put these tires on it. If you want a bullet proof tire that will climb anything, buy them.
