hey guys..I need to know who has what kind of "diamond" type cv gaurds..I just hit a beaver chew that was hiddin in the under brush and it nearly ripped that cheesy plastic thing right off..

 

I've got the Metaltek guards from Kawasaki. They are made of aluminum and look really nice. I believe they sell for $70 US.

 

hey thanks nove..never even looked at the kawi stuff before(DOH!)..thought never crossed my mind..

 

Don't get the oxlite guards they really open the boots up to get damaged real easy. If I had it to do all over again I would get the ones you can get through Kawi. Also the Kawi ones I think mount to the factory screw holes , the oxlites don't.

 

Before you order off the net ask the dealer to give you a price? I ordered Alum. pieces for the whole belly and he cut the price on every piece that the book listed.
