Prairie 650 engine break-in..How many Miles ??

..Well it finally came..so how many miles/Hours is needed to break in the engine ?? thanks in advance,,,

One full tank of gas. Take it easey and vary your throttle to let your engine run at varied speeds. Do not let the machine idle for long periods of time until the break-in is complete.

The recommended break in period is 10 hours. At that point the minimum you need to do is change the break in oil and filter. I also like to change the Rear gear oil, tighten the breaks and check cables. Enjoy!

Use your own discretion. Some guys say to ride it like it is gonna be ridden. The book says to run it for ten hours with no more than 1/2 throttle, varying your speeds. Blah blah blah. I put two tanks of gas through mine taking it pretty easy, but with a few wide open bursts. I haven't had any problems with it yet. I'd break in another one the same way, but I think you could pretty much ratbag on it right after a tank of gas and it would be fine.
