Roscoe, this is B.C. man!!! ALL the trails are treacherous cliff ledge types!!!! Just kidding! Grady lake and Curtis lake are both good trails. If you are doubling, I guarantee your wife will want to get off and walk in a few spots, but all in all they are really good trails, no cliff ledges!! If you want me to take you to Marble lake, well I think you better give the wife your credit card and let her go shopping!!! That trail is definitely for the extreme quad rider.

Anytime you guys wanna come over, say the word. It's getting pretty late in the year for this year, but next spring is right around the corner. The problem with the trails I have mentioned above is that they are all in the mountains and there is gonna be snow in them there hills real quick. Take care guys.

Thanks for the warning, looks like your trails are not for old people, seems the term young and foolish comes to mind.
we will keep the invatation in mind, hmm, lets file it under places that are interesting but maybe the need for reckless spirit. I will try to save it to this file system in my mind. Damn the warning that this disc has some bad sectors" do you want to save it anyway" yes.
Well we will have to see what next summer brings, and thanks for the invitation. most trails the wife wont complain but she fears the falling over bit. she has been there and done that. Just how bad are these bad spots?

Must be great fun to ride in the snow. I saw snow once, looked like fun lol. All we ever have here is mud, lots of swampy mud. Must alos be nice after a days riding in the snow not to have to spend 2 hours cleaning your bike like you do with the mud

Yes snow is fun, but most times we end up with snow pack throughout the quad . Cant see tie rods or winch, and the heating and cooling freezes it to blocks of ice. Easy to ice up carbs and freeze gaslines if you dont have dry gas. we use a lot of isopropeyl ( sp) alcohol to prevent this. Mild days bring mud and snow that freezes . damn the thought of it, have need for warm place to thaw quad before we wash it. Where did you see snow ? Didnt have quad at that time?
Im sure you would have loved it. We have to dress warm and use hand warmers and thumb warmers when it gets real cold.Big boots heavey jackets, full helmets and winter mitts. Now there are some nice thoughts. Some time you should experience it , creek crossings arn't a problem when they are froze. Drop over some time we can go for a run.

Cigardude yes snow is fun being able to roost especially. Little cool though dress warm lots of fun. As for the white hair thing Mastrblaster can't aford to much more to go grey have to look for that formula for men lol. Maybe some reverse aging pill would be nice just to help the aches after the long ride you now actually HOT TUB works really good. If I could bring that puppy with me aaahhh ooooohhhhhh MMMMMmmmmmmm. Should have bought one of these things years ago has to be the second best thing in the world. Actually Mastrblaster I was thinking of july long weekend next year if your interested. I might try to talk Roscoe69 in coming down with me if he and wifey are intersted might even bring the fly rod. Actually I can't wait for the lakes to freeze over so I can go ice fishing I now where there are some monster Pike. Hooked onto a couple last year that bent stainless 00 hooks and took my 7 inch hearing. Talk to you again have fun.

Hmmm, on second thought, it doesnt sound like it is as much fun as i originally thought LOL. I saw snow once while traveling, (No quad with me). You brought up a lot of things I had not thought about. It gets cold here sometimes, but not cold enough to use hand warmers, and I never heard of a thumb warmer LOL. I would really like to have a change of pace from the swamp and ride some hills or Mt rides. maybe a few rocks as well. It wont happen but i would really like to go ride the Hatfiels Mcoy trail system.

Roscoe, most of the trails I ride are really not that bad. The only one that is really challenging is the Marble lake trail. That one is definitely a one rider trail. The only places on the other trails I was telling you about are where they cross creeks and a couple of short but fairly steep hills. Those are the ones your wife would want to walk. If you come over, don't worry, I won't take you on any level 10 trails!!!

Alltoys, who the hell are you calling old?!!!!! I don't need Grecian formula!!! My hairs falling out anyway!!! If you guys want to come over on the July long weekend, that sounds good to me. Don't know what we are doing then, but I'm sure we can schedule something. You never know. I usually schedule 3 or 4 days in advance. That's as far as I can remember in my old age!!! LOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!

Mastrblaster I was referring to my old age ah heck you are never old when you have a Kawi 650 between your legs. Just point aim and shoot! Cigardude I would love to ride in some Lousiana goop some time. I was through there in 88 had an excellent time fishing and an air boat trip through some of the Byous. Great country also I just like to ride now matter where any day riding is far better than working. I want to experience some new terrain and visit forum members and their riding territorys. Roscoe69 is close, closer than most anyway he has mountain vista to choose from not to mention 1000's of square miles to roam in. Mastrblaster too has some wonderful places to ride I feel fortuneate to have talked to these individuals and have so far road with Roscoe and wife and friends. Maybe I shall make it down to Louisiana again. I might even might persuade one of these guys and gals to come too. Great talking to you all have fun.

Yes going to bc to ride would be fun, where do you live. Oh by the way ,wife has own quad and sled ,she wouldnt have it any other way. She can outride a lot of men but still doesnt like the rolling over trick. alltoys may be getting old ,but not slow thats for sure. Bad a$$ quad helps a lot thats for sure . We were out for a 5 1/2 hr trip yesterday but didnt go far enough west to find snow. Drove from house on logging roads should have loaded on trailer and drove to snow. Highest elevation was 4000 ft. but when traviling towards foothills next ridge blocks veiw , but mountains are white. Rained hard all hight when daylight comes i will see if mountains are still white. We spent a lot of time trying to get up on ridge that is now cutblock . Hillside was like steps but trees cut off and they scarified it (cut up soil) no place for quad, sled will work when we get snow. Wel lbreakfast is ready so better get it.

Roscoe, I live in a small place called Fruitvale. It is just outside of Trail B.C., RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MOUNTAINS!!!!!!! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! ! ! ! ! ! ! , you gotta love the mountains!!!! Nothing beats a nice set of mountains--------OK, enough of that!!

The highest elevation around here is about 6100 feet. Lots of snow up there in the next couple of weeks. Not a good place to ride in the fall, as you can get snowed in in a matter of a couple of hours. We stay away from the higher elevations in the fall and winter, although we do ride in the winter quite a bit at the lower elevations, around 1500 to 2000 feet. My wife doesn't have a quad and she is a very timid rider. She wants me to get her a quad so I have been thinking about the new Kawie 360. I can get it at Pro-am in Calgary for $7700. That's a pretty good price, but out of my league right now. Wife is going back to school to get edumacated so I am gonna have to hold onto every penny till she's done. You guys have a good one.
