first off.. what's your body weight compared to who rides the 300?? the two bikes are so close (in my opinion) that weight is a big deciding factor.. also the 300 runs a 13 tooth front sprocket and a 38 rear sprocket... change your front to a 13 and your back to a 41.. you will have alot of top end.. with the stock rear tires on it... the supertrapp 3 inch racing series exhaust is one of the best if not the best for the mojave... i called FST and talked to Mickey Dunlop about that one... that's what they run on the 411 GNCC Mojave and whatever you do.... DONT BUY A 300.... change your cams... 1mm bigger piston and a new black box will give you plenty of power

I would say the 300ex would be good for your new quad.I've also heard that the 300ex responds better to mods. I wouldn't know since mine is still stock. see ya

Actually the Mojvae response better to mods than the 300Ex Mickey Dunlop said it himself.

and with the 300 not having any cooling system on it other than air... you'll have problems keeping your temps down

Call FourStroke Tech and get a 411cc or better yet, wedge a KLR650 motor in there and modify that. Check the motorcycle salvage yards and as you dealer for an experienced fabricator. The 400EX's are good but you still get the best quad by aftermarket parts. Me, I am working on a KX500 Tecate-4 and if anyone has any experience in this conversion let me know, thanks.
