Rained here today and didn't want to chase the snow at the foothills so i decided to get at it. Just spent four hours changing oils and cleaning filters on 650 and honda 350, put in 5w30 this time expect some cold weather soon.
Damn when i finished found small washer in bottom of oil pan. Dolt, lets see doesn't belong to oil pan plugs or filler plugs . Must be from one of four differental plugs. Got to hate it when that happens.Lets see if i remove drain plug will lose oil, hmmmm it would be the last one i remove thats for sure.looks like i will be keeping a eye on those diffs for a while.Man do i feel stupid.
