Rejetting 650 dont understand

I got me a stage 1 jet kit for my 650 from Dynojet. What I dont understand is the jet size's are smaller than what was in it. I thaught it would be the other way or has this got something to do with the needles.

I don't know if it is actually smaller or not. I know the numbers are different, but go with the recommended jetting that came with the kit. Dynojets flow more per size if that makes sense.

I noticed that alot of guys are going with the needle in the 4th instead of 5th notch. It seems like the 5th notch was too rich for most of them.

Thanks rutwad I tried mine on the 5th notch this past weekend in Tenn. Mts. at WINDROCK. But I think I need to move them to the 4th notch because it missed and poped at about qaurter throtle or when you like leveled out, got rpm's level with speed.

The dynojet jet sizes do not correspond to the Kehin jet sizes. The orifices aren't shaped the same either. Don't mix them up.
