The polaris folks are giveing me some good info but not quite the answers I'm looking for. Now I know you prairie owners are gonna harp on me for asking this and fell free to do so but pleas try to answer my question. I want to know witch atv wins over all best between the P650 and sportsman 700. I know that each atv has its owen pros and cons so pleas point them out, I would like to know what one can do better than the other and I also want to know witch one wins over all. I know everyone will have there owen openion but I want to hear them all.

700 has a smoother ride, is heavier, faster at top end, better in deep ruts

650 has more...seat of the pants power, sportier feel and ride, better seat, better locker, faster out of the hole, history tells us kawi is more dependable, less expensive in my area than the 700, 650 has best brakes and engine ever put on an ATV...I am sure I could go on...

The 650 is just a better quad...In my opinion.

I've heard you P650 guys say that in high or low range you can stand you atv straght up, has any one ever tried to do the same with the sportsman, I know that my sportsman wont wheelie even in low unless I use some mejor body power, and am just wondering if the 700 will wheelie any better?

Someday when I am am retired, fat, beer bellied, missing teeth, slow moving and all I am going to use a quad for is dragging out a deer and elk when I am not in my wheelchair, I might then consider the Polaris.

But while I am semi-young, looking for a thrill, and pushing an atv to its limits and beyond, the p650 is for me. Put it this way, I can get a good deal on a Polaris and Polaris acessories due to where I work, but I still chose the Kawi. Polaris 700 is good, Kawi 650 is flatout awesome.

Price difference can be up to a grand depending on where you shop.

I would say it really depends on your style of riding and where you ride. just keep in mind that the 650 is really a "sport" atv in a 4x4 frame with utility plastic..kinda a wolf in sheeps clothing if you will...I have never seen or ridin a 700 so to that end i wont respond.

Metalikev

I beleive you hit it dead straight I have riden Polarises the 700, 500HO, 500 Scrambler. Prices are comparible and it all depends on the type of riding you do. More sporty get a Kawi, relaxing takeing it easy get an IRS bike I now I am going to get flaq over this one. I would like Kawi to make an IRS bike then I would have the total toys in the bag. I have actually been shopping for an IRS bike. I have ridden them all except the Honda 650 so my verdict is still out. So far I like what Polaris has to offer in the 700 if someone were to give me the keys to either the Kawi650 or Pol700 it would be hands down the Kawi. Its only money Tommyboy84 get both and let us now how you made out wich one you prefer. Have fun.
