Cold Weather Jetting
#1
Do you drop a jet size or do you raise it a jet size since cold air is denser?
This is another reason I want to install Dial a jetset it in the middle and jet for that then you can up or down it for altitude and weather. Mayby I'll ask for one from Santa incase the Ignition box isn't ready yet. Any news or updates on that and the tranny filter????

Monte,
per a Mikuni Carb tuning guide (about 3 bux from Dennis Kirk) if the temperature CHANGE (note this means that if it is spot on at 80 degrees, and you ride it at 50 degrees the temp change is -30 degrees...)
anyhow..if the temperature change is about 25 degrees colder, you could go richer by a size

I wouldn't worry about rejetting unless you are going into ice raceing. I run mine in -45 with no adverse affects except for colder nether regions. Keep your same jetting its not that big a deal.
