What size tires are you running to get the front up without popping the clutch? My friend has 22inch spider tracks and i can wheelie most quads really good but i just cannot get the mojave up in 1st or second. NEver mind 3rd or 4th. What other mods do u have? You might have a lot more power.

I'm running all stock tires the only mods I have performance wise is a FMF pipe and UNI filter...I only use the clutch when i'm trying to get off the corner fast I never use it in normal shifting unless of course I'm in 1st LOL keep the throttle nailed and run through the gears! I hope I didn't come off like I was bashing the 300 it's a good machine but the Mojave has better power and is better for racing and awesome on trails and mud!

The Mojave is a decent machine and if you are tryin to save some cash it is a good choice.
But i think that if you can afford the extra 700 bucks you will be happier with a 300EX. I rode a friend's Mojave and it just isnt nimble like the 300ex and the suspension is too stiff. The Mojave and 300 have neary the same power output and though the Mojave can beat my EX by about a bikelength in a drag, on the track and the trails the 300EX seems impressively fast compared to the Mojave.

the best thing you can do 02reconrider is take a ride on both machines and see which one you like the best....your always going to have Kawi guys like myself saying the Mojave is better just like you will always have Honda guys saying the 300ex is better....Everybody talks bad about the kick start on the Mojave but mine always starts even when there's ice and snow on the ground by the second kick! so that's not a problem! I can only speak from my personal expericence and my mojave has never let me down whither on the track or on the trail it's an awesome ride! Good luck making your decision.

I have also had a Mojave and now own a 300EX, and I am saying the 300EX is better, stock, if you start modifying them then thats different, but the Mojave is not as high tech as you think since it has rocker arms so it still doesn't function much better than a SOHC, but it does have liquid cooling which is a plus.
