Default what spring does what?

as i understand the black secondary reduces belt slip. does the red secondary reduce belt slip even more, does the clutch engage at a higher rpm? the primary springs just increase clutch engagement rpm?
thanks

The black spring is installed in the secondary or driven pulley. It will decrease belt slippage buy holding the drive in a lower gear ratio longer. The red spring goes in the primary or the drive pulley. It will increase the engagement RPM. The red springs has pros and cons. The engagement may be to high for some riding preferences such as rock crawling, it reduces the engine breaking ability. The red spring is the easiest to install and doesn' require any special tools. If feels as if the quad is faster with the red spring. The black spring has only pros. Reduces belt slippage and gives better low end power for larger tires.
