maybe.... but don't trust what the rep says. of course he's going to say that. i remember the Yammy reps saying that the raptor is faster than the Ds650 like the Ds650 is faster than the 400ex. they'll say anything to peak interest. i think they could make it the fastest (top speed) if they wanted to, but we'll see.

700 cc v twin! yes it would be easy to make it out drag any stock quad going. Will they? The thing I liked seeing was all the time spent GNCC racing was put into the new frame. I thought it was going to be a big beast but if it was tested in the woods and designed to be riden there then this thing should rock.

well, it's not exactly the kx250 machine they were racing. (I would have preferred that machine!) the frame looks like a typical honda copy-type.

I would have loved to see a KX250 type or at least a sub 400lb pure racer from anybody but I am not sure we ever will.
Like I said though now I do not race but every now and the any more, I remember when falling ment you got back on, now it hurts like hell and if you miss work it is not a good thing.
I ride MX and if the double is not big I might take it, bike or quad, I used to try every jump and some people said I should not.

My point is now that I have the money to buy anything I want the V700 looks more and more like what I want. When I was young I would have laughed at any auto quad, I also only owned reg cab trucks. Now I have a crew cab and want and auto quad.
Remember all of the big MFG's are looking to make money and more of us old fat bald slow guys have the money to spend so it makes sence finacialy to build bikes we want.

Shotgun

Can you say turbo charged, nitrofied P650 I now Shotgun will find this interesting especially when he asked me about doing it. Yes it is possible just checking out lag time. Full horsepower benefit on nos is 72 hp with 50% jetting on dry system at 15 sesonds of burst time. Full rpm and maximum speed attained in 5 sesonds approximately 64 mph.

Your wondering what this has to do with kfx700. Can you imagine with the jam this bike is supposed to have what can it have with an already technology proven P650 perffed beyond its disigned perrameters. The only thing holding me back is the CDI and the CDI from the 700 will not work on the P650 already looked into it.

Not sure if the turbo will work might be too much lag time. If it doesn't produce any power untill 3000rpm and it revs out to 6200 supposedly then the turbo is not worth the exspense. Although imagine nos up to 3000rpm then turbo kicks in, nos turns off, full turbo peak revs that touch 10,000rpm. HHHMMMMM Its hard to hold on to the Green Machine as it is.

Shotgun

With my nos setup I attain 72hp at 6200 the only stumbling block is the CDI it cancells at 5850 rpm momentum rolls to 6200. I can reach max speed and rpm in 5 seconds giving good traction with sustained boost for a further 10 seconds. The turbo will allow for a more sustained boost because it doesn't heat up the motor as much as the nos. I am looking for a turbo that will boost to 14lbs without any lag time and the lag time is the question. So far the one for the Raptor won't work well because the configuration of the Kawi motor fires out of sinque almost creating its own lag time and a higher degree of detonation. It would be nice to put this unit on the V700 when it comes????
