Default Adjusting jets for weather changes

im pretty sure i got the right ones. they take a flat screw driver right? anyway, those are the ones i messed with. i didnt see the point in turning them all the way in and then turning them back out to where they were to begin with (unless you should) so i just started turning them 1/4 of a turn from where they were and it ended up that i had to turn them 1 1/2 turns each to get any result but if i went 1 3/4 turn it would sputter and die. anyway it seems to be running a little better now. i didnt ride it all that much after that so we'll have to see. thanks for all the help and i'll keep you posted on how it's running.

in the topic of "air/fuel mixture" on these forums, (alltoys) says that if you are running lean you should turn the screws in to richen not out. which one of you are correct? just curious.

Turn them out (counter-clockwise) for richer because the screws control fuel flow. Some carbs on other machines have "air screws" because they control how much air is fed into the idle circuit, in which case you would adjust the screw in for a richer mixture.
