My wifes 360 just started to "Chirp" after around 30 hours.....NOT ANYMORE !! .......I traded it in on saturday...for a 03 Suzuki Vinson 500 4 spd...the 360 rode great,but "how and where"we use it is, in the mountians .. ..I found it sure could make it up the hills in low gear,But the little bugger was just screaming..the 360 should have been a 400cc...and kawasaki doesnt make a 500 class...they are missing out on sales!!..My 650 Prairie just Idled up the hills...I have to really respect how the suzuki is built...very nice....The dealer gave us $100.00 less than what we bought the 360 for...$300.00 rebate is going on untill the end of this month...plus we got a $400 warn wench for $150.00,and dont have to pay for it till may 03.....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

Ok, I went and talked to the dealer ysterday and he said that it will squeal sometimes nomater what so I just went ahead and rode today. It only squealed a couple times and it was because I made it squeal. I think I am just going to order a set of springs from EPI, Which springs should I get and should I only get the primary spring they have listed, or should I get the secondary spring too?

 

some people are using both, but from what I understand, the secondary alone is the way to go at first. I wouldn't put in just a primary right now. Use the secondary.

 

Where do you pick up these EPI Springs?? They are suppose to make your belt tighter & get rid of any belt noise is that right??

 

They will hold the belt tighter and they will cause the blet to chirp a little at times if it is at the real tight side of the spec. it all depends on how you adjust it. And here is where to get the EPI spring

I was to the dealer today to see what kawasaki had to say and he said that they will not replace the clutch, they want me to bring it back and they to check adjustments. I told them that I've been talking to alot of other atv users and the belt was replaced so they are calling again to Kawasaki. In the meantime they also had a 650 in the shop at the time with the same problem has me so now it is the two of us with the same problem. I had it in on Nov 15 and still nothing done yet this is ridiculious. I have to check back with the dealer in a few days to see if they are going to fix it under warranty and if not no more Kawasaki for me I will burn her up plowing snow this winter and traded in the spring. Mine is ok now. Notice I said ok, not perfect. The thing only squeaks if I have no forward motion at all when I try to go up a hill, and even when it does this it isnt anywhere near as bad as it was. Theonly thing I a confused about is that after it squeaks once the next few times that I take off it will barely chirp but only like one or two more times. I guess I am satisfied with it so I am just going to ride it and hope for the best. Hope everyting works out for you, goodluck.

Does anyone know wich EPI secondary Spring is recommended for the 360??

 

I just started to get a slight squeel on take off, I only have 17 hours on the machine, I figured the belt stretches slightly once broken in... My thought is if I was to tighten the belt now the squelling will go away, I hope I haven' already pooched the belt, I can't see how this would be possible since I've only been driving the 650 on two wheels half the time LOL.
