Prarie 650 Hour Meter Question???

I just bought a new 03 Prarie this past weekend. My question is, does the hour meter run when the key is on or only when the motor is running? Thanks........

Congratulations on the new 650. No idea on the meter. Normally the only time my key is on is when the machine is running.

look throught the post someone answered that not long ago and I think it is the key is on no matter what state the motor is in running or off. Hope this helps....

dan,
as long as the key is turned to the on position the hourmeter is running. the motor does not have to be on. make sure you turn your key off when not in use or else you will pile up the hours.
