In my garage I made a hard turn on my Y2K Mojave, and when I looked back I saw a line of drops on the floor. After checking the bike, the only thing I found wet was a hose from the bottom of the carburator. The fluid sort of smelled like gas, but not as strong (I picked it up from the dealer Saturday and it had a full tank). Is this an overflow or vent tube? I don't remember this
happening on my '87

yes these are the vent hoses or overflows or it could have come out of the vent on the top of the gas cap if it was filled tothe top

The tube on the bottom of your carb is a drain tube for the bowl. There is a screw on the right side that opens the drain. Make sure this is closed all the way or you will constantly leak gas.
