I need a little help. I am 6'2 and have been looking to get a new quad I like the look of the Lakota and looks to be a nice quad. In all the pictures I have seen it looks to be kind of small. Has anyone ever ridden both a Trail Boss and a Lakota. Also if anyone knows the turning radius could ya help me out with that too. Thanks.

I have an Xplorer 250 (4x4 Trailboss) and a buddy of mine has a Lakota. His is small feeling, my knees were too close to the handelbars. The Xplorer is larger and has a more comfortable seating position. Turning radius is close. The Lakota is faster and lighter. The Lakota he has has been good to him. The Xploror has been good to me. Ride both and you choose.

i've got a tb 325 and the lakota for your size i would go with the TB325 i'm 5'9" and 180 and the lakota is just right for me. theres a big difference between these 2 atv's. TB is more comfortable, higher to sit on, automatic. the lakota is more sporty, faster, corners better. my girls like the 325 better because they dont have to shift it. the single lever brakes work better for them also. i like the independnent front and rear brakes. there 13 and 18. i'm 45.the lakota has a shorter turning radius, its about 4" shorter in wheelbase.

I actually have been looking at the Xplorer 250 4x4 too. I wasn't sure about the power though. Is 250 enough for a 4x4? And are they planning on updating the style of it at all soon? Thanks.
