He used to post a while ago and was building a P650 and working on ways to add mods.

Had some sort of fire that set him back.

Wonder what his P650 is running now? If you still visit this forum, Oldman Wheeler, I am really looking for a twist throttle for my P650 and I think you had one for yours. Any ideas?????

His wheeler is running very well and beat my husband's in the last hare scramble we had here. His took first place, my husband took second, but is a completely stock machine.

Now OldmanWheeler's p650 has the green plastic like PBR's machine. It looks cool. And I will let him tell you about all the mods, because that's about as far as I go: the color of the plastic

I'll see if I can round him up for you!

Hey Rocky,

I'm still alive and kick'n. I'm still recovering from the 12-Hours of ATV America race we put on in October. My project quad is about 95% done. We are trying to get our hands on a CDI Box and are playing with the clutch. I drag raced Mike Penland's machine when he was here for ther 12-Hours and he bet me by a 1/2 length and it's all in the fine tuning the clutch. Other then that it is running great. I put a post up as soon as we get it up on our web site.

Oldman Wheeler, how do you like the angled footpegs? I was thinking of building a pair.

Great, especially if you ride in snow or mud - it's much easier to rock the machine and get yourself out of situations. I got mine from Mike Penland. If you need his number let me know.

OldmanWheeler,

Good to hear from you. Ever come up to Minnesota for a weekend ride?

I have never been to Iowa with my ATV. But I have heard of some great places in beautiful eastern Iowa. I would like to take a trip to visit down there this spring when you guys are thawing out and we are still frozen solid. There are some OHV areas?

How about that twist throttle?

Merry Christmas!

We have just the place for you Rockyquarry. Just let me know when you want to come down - we have over 2000 acres of abandoned, wooded gypsum quarries that we ride.

Adjustable clutch weights.

those should bring you up that 1/2 bike lenght. GOOD LUCK!

Only half as fast as you think you are, but faster that they think they are!
