Hey everyone im new to the forum. I have an '88 Mojave. When cold it will not kick start. I can pull it and get it started and once it gets warm i can kick start it. I pulled off the intake cover and sprayed some starting fluid in it and it still would not kick start it. I think it is the carb. I have a rebuild kit for it but dont want to put it on unless i have to. Thanks for any help.

 

I had this problem too with my '01. It fouled the plug everytime that I have had this problem. I have noticed that running a higher octane when its cold has helped it start easier.

 

ya i run real yhigh octane gas! And i have never once had any problems!
