Get what works best for your truck. If you get a the folding kind make sure it isn't too long to fit in the bed with the gate up. Also, make sure it folds small enough to fit between ATV tires. It doesn't need to be wider than 48" or so, you can aim and make it up that just fine. Make sure to get ramps that chain to the bed. It doesn't really need to be all that long even with a tall truck if it has good grip for the tires.
The wood kind suck.
Set the parking brake, sometimes the truck moves and the ramp may shift.
Whatever you get, make sure it has good tire grip, especially if the truck is tall. I almost lost it on a crummy ramp my brother has. My pickup is extra tall, so I gotta have traction on the ramp.
I actually like individual ones that I made myself, not the one piece. I have used both. Mine interlock into the bed liner of the truck. Works fast and easy.
I made ramps for myself that interlock into notches cut into in my tailgate liner. It hold them very secure. The rungs are made from step tread channel, and they don't slip.
