650freak...Now that you mention that, What is everyone paying for these tires? and Where are you getting them?

I found them at Tiresunlimited.com that had them for $293 delivered.

Thanks for the replys!

jjs3788: I am strongly thinking of putting the ATR's on my Rincon before bringing it home from the dealer.

I have freinds with kawa.. 650's and they have way to much power for the stock tires and not to mention they wear out very quick. I am thinking the stock tires on the Rincon would be a little better then the Dunlops but now good enough by the looks of them.

650Freak:

Thanks for the ride comparisons, they are the best!

Do you have any complaints with them?

I got mine for $200 used, they had about 40 miles on them. They looked brand new.

My only real complaint is with the price! I could get a set of bearclaws for half the price. However they don't ride as good as the ATR's. I do wish that I could get them in a 26", but only if they are still light. I ride to hard to put a heavy tire on the bike. If you get them be prepared for an ALL NEW RIDE. The steering changed more then I ever thought it could. However my father inlaw just put a set on his foreman 450 and the steering is about the same on his bike. Something about the 650 with these tires make the steering almost to easy.

jjs3788...Are you using the Kawasaki Aluminum CV Protectors or aftermarket? I really need to get some before I tear another boot. What did they cost?

Encore454, they are made by Metaltek. They cost around $90 from a local shop so you can probably find them cheaper online. They have a real nice fit.

I thought metaltek made Kawasaki's guards? I know they look identical.

I have the Kawasaki made by aftermarket supplier. They work good but get bent up pretty easy. I also tore a CV boot with the aluminum protectors.

I have the ATR's. I love them for the most part. I just went for a ride in deep 12" powdery snow and was not happy with the way they performed. I was wishing i had my 589's. This is the only thing I have not liked about these tires

I dont ride in snow all that much. Been twice so far this year but snow was only around 6-8" deep. Last time I had my stock tires on the P650. Im sure ATR's would do better than those.
