How does it sound compaired to the Penland system I wsh they had a full exhaust for it isteaad of just the back section. But it still is an exellent price!

 

Does the quiet core on the HMF make that big of difference on the sound? on the power?

 

Power wise, there isn't much difference between the open muff and core, sound wise, the quiet core makes it's sound more like stock, but with a deeper tone and a little louder, open is loud when you crack the throttle wide oprn but not to bad just cruiseing, open HMF has a DEEP rasp sound to it, sort of a cross between a stock Harley and a V-8 truck with a Flowmaster exhaust. I like mine......

Yea, I bought mine straight from them, I got mine for $189, That was when they first came out, I think they are 209 or 229 now but they have put a billet removable end cap for the quiet core and spark arrester now, so they have made some improvement's, if you don't have a jet kit, they have bigger Keihn jet's for 6 bucks i think, Also if you like a little color they have different color canister's for them to.......
