yeah, the fuel switch got me a couple of times, all of which i was in the middle of no where

 

I've got a buddy, and I do use that term loosely, that will wait till you're not looking and turn your fuel valve off. He only got me once. I now check my valve every time before taking off. However, he just wears out this one guy on a Polaris that rides with us occasionally. He turns this guy's gas off at every stop and the guy can't figure out what's going on. We don't have the heart to tell him. We just tell him it's a trait of a Polaris.LOL[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

Partsman, I got riding buddies that do that too. You gotta get smart. Turn off his fuel, click his killswitch, pull off his spark plug cap------all at the same time!! Sooner or later he'll get the message!!!

 

Yea, I got him the last time we rode by turning off his gas. He just smiled real big as we rode past him on the trail trying to get his bike started. LOL[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I turn my fuel off at most every stop. That guy would have NO FUN with me! LOL Too many years riding 2-stroke dirtbikes, old habits die REAL hard.

 

i have to admit the shutting off the gas is funny. my only concern is where you might be when the float bowl is empty. ie; big hill, crossing the hiway, if i got hurt when somebody did this to me i not going to the only one hurtin.
