Yep-Momma always put me on the "short bus" to school and I'm pretty sensitive about it.

Last time I looked this was called an ATV forum.

I rode the short bus and I had to sit in back.

DRG

See what you started... (Actually I feel bad, you asked a simple question and many of our posts have been argumentive)
Were just a passionate bunch that feel strongly that the p650 is an incredible machine. We own them and we have taken them everywhere. We speak form experience. Not hear-say. Were not a brand loyal bunch. We bought what we thought was best. If the Rincon was a great as it was made out to be there would be one in my garage. (I still think Its a good machine, but I think the P650 is better)

Bosox, Trialburner lets get together in the next week or two and ride.

dash hit the nail on the head. Im in no way brand loyal. I have had Yamahas all my life but dont care for the Grizzly. Im seriously considering an Arctic Cat for my next atv.

I was going to get a 500i but when the dealer had me take one for a ride and I hit the throttle and it just slowly accelerated and I went and cut a donut and it felt very tippy (because of the IRS no matter what SOME people say!) Then he had me ride a Prairie and it was a all together different experience nail the throttle and the wheels came round to meet me and it was a lot more stable in a donut. After that all I could think about was getting a PRAIRIE!

Default rincon or prairie 650?

you guys have been great thanks for all of your input i havnt posted because i wanted to ride the prairie before i asked any more questions i rode the 650 last night it was -20 with the wind chill and i couldnt get enough i got excited when i started the engine i love the dif lock the engine the ride i was worried about the solid rear but think it might actually be a benefit where we will be i will be riding in very steep country i like the lower center of gravity if i get stuck with the dif lock i will just winch myself out thanks for all the debate guys you were really helpful i still like the rincon a lot and if the 650 wasnt around it would be my choice i tried 5 different rides all on pavement they ranked 1. 650 2. rincon 3. grizzly 4. traxter 5. 700 i hated the vibration on the polaris the bombardier wasnt in the same class the grizzly felt sloppy and we all know the rincon 650 debate thanks for all of your time now i need some help with how to outfit this bad boy i am going to put on a warn 2500 with a front and rear mounting system skid plates and some meaner tires need help with the tires and anything else you would suggest thanks again drg

Glad to hear it you made the right decision. Congrats.

Don't count out the RAMSEY for a winch, it has a lower current draw and a faster no load wind speed and a lifetime warrennty oh and a wireless remote with it which you can also buy for the warn for $200 bucks. It is included wiht the Ramsey. The warn and ramsey both use the same bolt pattern for the mounts also. FYI
