Just got done checken out the big 4x4 shootout in atv action mag. Jan 2003 iss.
It states that:
The yamaha grizzly 660 took 4th place.
The polaris sportsman 700 took 3rd place.
The honda rincon 650 took 2nd place.
And once again the prairie 650 took 1st place,
Quote from atv action mag. :
Kawasaki prairie 650 takes the open class 4x4 shootout win for the second consecutive year because it offers the best combination of performance for fun and work. The engine is exciting and tractable. This machine's riding position and handling are spot-on, too. You don't adjust the way you ride to the prairie, you just do what you want to do. If there are chores waiting, the kawasaki has the capacity for work fitting for an open class 4x4. All the open class 4x4 are amazing in some ways, but the prairie is the only ultimate 4x4 atv that is truly ultimate in every respect.
I wonder what is gonna happen when they come out with the new 700 prairie or kvf in 2004.
