Yellow Spring ?????
#3
The yellow spring is for EXTREME launch capabilities!! The black secondary spring is a must. It helps considerably with belt life and wear. There are six or seven different springs for your primary clutch. The red spring is the mildest with them getting more extreme from there. I had the red spring in my primary clutch for about a day and I took it out. The red springs engagement is harsh. If you are a rock crawler or technical trail rider, I wouldn't recommend it. If you like the way the silky smooth tranny operates with your stock spring, you won't like the way it engages with the red.

Thanks Mastrblastr
Guess I'll hold off on the yellow spring
maybe I'll try out the red one first.
Most of my riding is on forest service roads and powerline
right of ways.
I really appreciate the help.

Check out this site PRIMARY SPRINGS. This will give you some info. Also go HERE . This will give you info on the secondary springs. I wouldn't mind trying the red secondary spring.

If I'm not mistakeing the white primary spring comes stock? Wouldent that make the purple spring the most harsh? If Its thst much more extream than the red, yellow, and the others wouldent it be heard to keep the front end on the ground? I would like to find out witch one gives you the most wheelie ability so I can change to it for roosting arround and back to stock for hunting. Oh and what about the red secondary spring???? Ive never heard of this. What would it do besides make youre belt even tighter thus givening you better take off the the black??
