700 will be nice...and right now a 2002 in this area goes for about 6300-6400...but i dont know if I would give up all the flexibility the prairie gives me (sporty, rough stuff, snow, mud, etc...), and the way it gives it to me :-), for a little more sports pazazz...would be nice to have them both...would love to see what the V-Force would do in the sand dunes.

Prairie venom, I would think twice about running paddle tires in the snow, because it is a rough ride when they dig and then hook up. I also say this because a buddy of mine had them on his 300ex and ruined the axle bearings twice in one winter. The paddles are rough on things outback, and you should probably only run them in sand or for limited time periods, however they did do a fairly good job in the snow.

howdy, I only had a couple thing..I wouldn't Trade in a machine, the dealer probably wouldn't give you enough on your trade(sell it out right). and if you are going to run snow and sand I would suggest relators or spider tracks, at about 2psi, they would work well at this.

The best tire in the world for snow on a sport quad are Ohtsu Pro Wedges. They have ultimate traction on snow and ice. Wheelies in snow with these tires is as easy as wheelis on black top. They hook up that good!!
I am trading in or selling my 03 P650 also. The 700 is just awsome. If it was a manual trans i think i would have kept my p650 but since its auto i can still easily play in the woods. I have only used 4wd on my prairie about 10 times since i have owned it (4 months)so i think i can live with out it.

To add something similar. I traded my 03 Kodiak 450 in on my KFX400 after owning it for 4 months. I wanted the Z/KFX when I got the 450 but just didn't get it. I didn't know about trail riding some of the places we go on a sport quad. I had given up on playing in the mud as much, I finally noticed how expensive it was. I have no regrets going to the sport quad. It seems to climb hills just as good if not better than the 4x4. Very comfortable to ride on the trail for long periods. Much faster and easier to handle. Haven't got stuck in the mud yet, granted I do try to avoid if possible. The only drawback is no storage space, I miss taking all my stuff. I always carried all kinds of stuff air compresser, plug kit, tow straps, first aid kit, food, drinks, tools, GPS and spare clothes. I feel naked out there now but I'm pretty fast so nobody notices.
