Sorry. Didn't mean to put you on the spot. I don't think it would be a good idea to show off the picture as the Canadian gov. is pretty sensitive about people posting thier military secrets on the net. It's pretty hard to protect your homeland when your enemy knows whats coming.

I tried option 2 here is what I did. I bought my wife a very nice flyrod one of those hand made graphite jobs with extra eyes for better casting in the 9.5 ft category with an auto retrieving fly reel for the fast moving stream you know the ones. A good fly line is a must too double tapered floating with adequate backing for the big one you know. Can't forget top notch professional flys from the best fly tyers around made especially for you or should I say for her with extra sharp hooks the better for hooking the fish kind of hooks. All this for Xmas this was of course some time ago.

This is what happened. She wasn't ticked not one bit she did look at me kinda funny as she never used to go fishing so she got inventive. She used the fly rod as a curtain rod, A CURTAIN ROD for goodness sake. The fly reel and fly line as a CLOTHES HANGING WIRE IN THE BASEMENT, THE BASEMENT!. Here's the clincher, she took those beautifully tied flys cut the sharp hook off and used them as pierced ear rings, EAR RINGS! Oh well guess it surves me right, its worth a laugh now that I think about it. That was 14 years ago this last Xmas and she still doesn't let me forget it LMAO.

There is a lesson here LOL. I will send you the picture in question LOL.

This always works for me. When you get home in the evening act as if you've had a very stressful day, or your upset. She'll ask whats wrong and just say a bad day at work. Mope around the house for awhile and look sad. Women will do anything to cheer someone up. Remember though your not sad or upset about not getting what your going for, that will only upset them.

My girlfriend has paid for dinner the past two nights we've gone out.
