I know this has probably has been posted before. I want your opinion, also keep in mind that both have equal riders.

 

i guess you mean in a race??? The Mojave would take it running away! Not to bash the Lakota or anything just that the mojave is more suited for with the manual clutch and liquid cooled and it's lighter!

I seen a piped and jetted Lakota VS Mojave, the race was 300 yards and the mojave maybe had a quad length and a half on the Lakota. I was amazed too.
I also seen a 300EX jump in the act, just stock thow. Both kawi's took the 300 from rite off the line to the finish.

The mojave's mid to top is to much for the Lakota, but the bottom of the Lakota is to much for the mojave.

There is, if I remember rite a 2 mph difference on the top end.

In January 2001 ATV Action magazine they had a shoot out that included the Mojave and Lakota. The Mojave beats the Lakota in top speed and drag racing, not by much in either. The Lakota won in MX lap times, suspention, and handling, not by much thow.
