"Tiny Tach" tachometer for the 650
#11
The Tiny Tach is made by Design Technology - Tiny Tach. I got it from Forester Instruments in Ontario - (905)795-0555, ask for Teresa . $90 with tax and shipping. Model 2C works on our machines. It's listed in the Kawasaki accessories catalog too. See who will give you the best deal.

I think I payed around $450 for it, but it was the only playback tach I could find. Until then we used the Tiny Tach. I would recomend it, (tiny tach), it cheap, $35 - $50 us, but it seemed to jump around alot. When you get on the gas, it would jump from say 2,000 up to 3,000 with out seeing any inbetween numbers. With the digitron, you see the numbers all going by, plus it had other timing features we wanted.
For clutching The tiny tach would work good, get on a straight stretch, hold her open and see where your RPM's go. The only problem was finding a place to mount, where you could see it and it was solid. Looks like NovaKawi650, Scott has found it.
