I bought an 02 650 last september. I work for a collision repair center and have kept an eye out for any salvaged 650's ever since.

I found one available today and would like anyones opinion on the damage and the value in their opinion.

My initial thought is if it can be bought at around 1500 to 2000 it may be worth the trouble. I am ballparking new parts at around 1000 to 1500. Keep in mind it will also have a salvage title.

My other element is the 650 I own. I have done several upgrades and I am not sure what I could get out of selling that one.

I can do the repairs myself so parts would be the only cost consideration.


Oh ya! What is the easiest way to post pictures on the message board?

 

You might want to check but my brother just tolaled his snomobile and they told him that the titles don't get branded for ats's and snowmobiles. That may make a difference in your decision.

 

I almost totalled mine in a roll-over last Oct 27th. $4628 to repair it. Had to have new frame($575.00)., and all racks, plastic, handlebars, and steering stem. They aren't cheap to buy parts for.
