BUT what u said was that the lakots is better! I mean yes its a good bike! i had one BEFOR i sold it for my mojave!!
And no dout the mojave outhandles and out powers it! Why cant U just say that in stock form it is better! I mean they are close! but the mojave does have the edge!

hmmm well so far it looks like im gonna go mojave. any happen to be able to direct me to a cheap place get an older one?? or maybe cheap place to buy a newer one? from what i saw the mojave almosts costs as much as a KFX and i know id be better off with one of those, since those cover all aspects

maybe this still kills me, when i do go to get one im gonna be stuck between buying it, or starting to build a replica of my dream car(not a cobra, something 10x faster)

WOW
I dont know where u are looking! but man those prices must be high! Almost as much as a KFX man thats way to much for a mojave! There are lots on e-bay that go for any where from 500$ to 3000$ I mean Iam at the point where Iam nto sure if i want to sell mine! Or do the major mods to it! Liek +2+1 a-arms with ELKAS

You should be able to buy a new Mojave for 4000 OTD. Around here you can get them for less than that. Older ones sell for 1200 to 1500 in good shape around here and I bought one with a bad cam and no rear axle for $225. I mean 5900 OTD is about 1900 over the retail price, what would all that be for. You need to check around a few dealers. I have seen dealers sell brand new mojaves on ebay for 3300.

Go to www.picturetrail.com/mojaveaddict There is three albums of pics from start to finish of my mojave project. There are good pics of the +3+1 arms and the +2.75 swing arm there as well as the antivibe stem i made. I made jigs from the stock parts and modded the jigs for the extensions and then made the parts from chromoly.

Wait to you see my current Mojave project. I have cut the whole frt of the frame off and built a new one with 15 degrees rake. It will have a narrow frt frame like a Roll desighn and use long travel shocks frt and rear. it will use 400 ex spindle hubs and brakes, 250r steering stem mount and tie rod ends, will have about 14 inches travel frt and rear. of course I will custom build the swing arm, a arms steering stem and frt frame from chromoly. It will use ac propegs for a z400 and the pegs will be lower and further to the rear. and many, many other mods. I will have pics up of the first stages of construction sometime soon.

uhmmm murphs law, what on earth are you spewing about?? after reading all these posts that seems to have come out of nowhere

should be able to for 4k OTD? wish i ied near you, both the local dealership here and the the ones around my relatives are all 4099 not OTD, because according to kawasaki 4099 is retail, and noone here ever sells for less then retail

except with 400exs, since they wont sell at all at retail thanks to the z400
