jet vs Dial a jet

Default jet vs Dial a jet

I'm looking to jet my kfx400 and I didn't know what to use. Somebody told me about dial a jet and it seemed kind of cool but does it really work like a real jet. I'm going to put an exhaust, K&N and jets and also take off the airbox lid. If you know of any pro's or con's about any jets please let me know.

Default jet vs Dial a jet

Blum,
There are many different types of dial a jets most come on at 3/4 throttle for that extra boost and they fit primarily on a side draft carb remember this because only one will work on a down draft carb. I like Thunder Products Dial a Jet as it can be used for down draft or side delivery either way doesn''t matter. The TPI's come on just above idle they are proportional and keep working right through to the top end. They are all roughly the same price so do some research before you buy as they are exspensive.
