I'm wondering if the '03 plastic is different. Cause I have had my Prairie out in 0 degree weather and flexing against trees and what not, it has just bent and not broken. Or maybe I am just lucky. Dunno, but my plastic is fine in cold weather with being able to flex.

Comannche

Ya, Me, I'm ready to kick some royal moon pie if they don't fix this crap I've been hounding my kawi rep for a year now and all they ever say is it an isolated problem with our dealership. I'm sick of it I'm gona go insane if they don't do something. I hear frome someone every day that has busted thier plastic and all I can tell them is that "I've told kawi and they don't want to do anything for you"." You freekin abused your quad you fool now PAY". Thats what I got to tell them. I sent My rep and the guys at kawi canada these threads off the forum and told them to get their heads out of their buts and pay attention to the people that sell all thier quads for them (the public by word of mouth) but as of yet got noooo response. Probably resend it in the morning and follow up with the good ol phone call. Mabe I can make em squirm a little anyhoo.

"It ether works or it doesnt" Hmmm ...some kind of analogy. OF COARSE ITS PLASTIC, BUT THEY MAY AS WELL PUT PAPER ON THERE, IT MIGHT LAST A LITTLE LONGER!!. Sorry I should'nt be so irate, but they could at least make a product that could last like the competitions. And for those that do not run into the minus temperatures (upto -30 to -40 degrees celsius) you will not know exactly what is happening with this plastic.......it will almost shatter. One gets scared to get to close to it , cause you just might catch your leg on it and it seems like it does'nt take much to crack it. And were just not talking -30 to -40 temperatures, it can be alot warmer then that. C'mon lets face it, its JUNK!!

PackardBell-- Do we need to invite Scootdog over to this thread?
BTW-- I had a '00 Honda Foreman "S" for 2 years/2000miles before this P-650. The plastic on it was d@mn near bullet proof! No rips or breaks in all that hard service. I DO EXPECT good service out of this plastic.

well if we get enough ppl to complain to replace the plastic. then maybe they will replace all of ours for free, even if it is broken or not

Packard, thats the idea? But to say 'what do u people expect from plastic" is not helping our cause. Because the simple and plain fact is; THE PLASTIC IS JUNK!! and they must be held accountable for there product. They remind me alot of politicians when they say it is a "isolated problem" instead of facing the the fact and repair the damage that has been done, in other words get a product that is strong and durable.and won't crack and especially in minus temperatures. And until they take heed to the complaints about the plastic the complaining will continue, thus affecting future decision making on ones decision in which atv he should purchase.

So, does everyone have '02 models that are having this problem. Like I said before my plastic seems fine and flexes good so far. Wondering if the plastic on the '03 models are different.
