No doubt about it Saskach, kawi makes good performing bikes, but depending if, when and how long it takes them to develope a plastic that will last and stand up, (not mentioning harsh conditions) that then will determine there true colors.

 

I dont have any problems with my plastic and i live in nebraska and we get some cold wether here to , If you dont hit anything they will last longer lol[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img].
Oh and kawasaki dose not make the fenders or the trim.

 

You can always go to PBR"s site and get his Kawi green plastic for a fee of course.

 

I was ignoring the thoughts on the black trim until this winter. I recently went to get on the prairie and my black trim broke around the screws. I couldnt believe it. I now understand what everyone was complaining about. I am probably just going to take off all the trim and cut the mud flaps. I noticed most gncc riders are doing this. What is PBR site address?

Ya, Kawasaki calls that "Trail abuse" or something??? go figure...and just how would they know....yep, they are real accountable for there junk! You can hardly blame them for coming up with all sorts of excuses, if they had to pay for all the JUNK plastic, it would cost them heavily

 

I have a 03 kvf650 and my unit is fine , And just so you know kawasaki dose not make the fenders for the atv's.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I have a 2004 p700 the fender trim is cracking, I even cut of the little tabs that hang down from the front fender and it still cracked. Great atv except the plastic! Also look very ugly and dated

 

I can not tell you that , All i can tell you is the dont.

 

To me, the BF plastic seems a lot tougher. There's not any thin strips to crack and break. Anyone have any bad experiences with BF plastics?
