Just got a P650! Want to start doing mods........

Well I just bought an '03 Prairie 650 for my wife. She did have a Polaris 250 Trailblazer so this is a big change for her. We rode it today for about 5 hours at the sand dunes. She's not sure if she likes it yet. It does not feel very "sporty" to her. I think it will grow on her. Anyway....................
I want to make some changes to the bike. First thing has got to be the tires! We mostly ride loose sand dunes and occasionally trails. Suggestions on tires anyone? (I'm aware that tire talk has been beat to death on this forum but not much said about sand)
Everyone here speaks highly of the black spring. I guess I get that from EPI but I see they also have a "Sport Clutch Kit". Is this a good thing to get? Does this have the black spring?
A thumbsaver would be nice. This throttle is heavier than what my wife is used to.
Anyone ever put a steering stabilizer on this bike? It seems like it would help it a lot.
I've never owned a "utility" quad before. I realy appreciate any tips/info you can share!
Thanks!

First thing I recommend is the black spring and new tire's! ride it with the black spring for a few hundred miles, maybe 400-500 then tighten the belt and then if you want to start modding it go ahead, you may like it fine stock.......
