Default p650 starting problem......need help

just bought a p650 down here in florida. Only have about an hour on it right now. I can't seem to get it to start unless I give it a little throttle. Even when the choke is on it won't start unless I give it throttle, but then when it does start with the choke on it seems to want to bog out. This is odd.....I've never had a bike that started easier without the choke than with the choke when it was cold. Has anyone had this problem? Or is this a normal thing to have to give it a little throttle when starting? On the rare occasion that it starts without throttle after it's warm, it idles real low until I blip the throttle, then it idles normally. What the h*ll is going on here?

I aways have to give it gas to start, choke or no choke. I think your cold is a lot warmer than our cold, and in the summertime here I rarely use my choke. When mine is warm sometimes it will start whith out touching the gas, but not too often. Now I have a friend that even in our winter he just pulls the choke and starts it with out gas. I don't understand his bike is very rare, but mine is a lot faster than his?

My is the same as Kawie650's
