"V-Force smoking... what's wrong?"

P-force? What are you 12 years old?
The 700 won the FIRST GNCC race of the year it was entered in, they must be doing something right. Feel free to read the post on the Yamaha forum that said the 700's pulled the holeshot in almost every class they raced in.

Predatorman know your place! I can tell by your premature ramblings that you are an unexperienced rider at best. Your parents bought your toys, all of them. I will not bring this forum down with debasing but you need to put up or shut up. You have not mentioned one fact yet about experience or performance, Silence!!

STecate925, unexperienced huh, 20 years of ridin and I'm unexperienced, oh well maybe in another 20 I'll have some experience?? As for my parents buyin my toys, I think not, its called hard work. I own a landscape business company that does over 2.5 MILLION dollars in sales and service every year for the last 4 years now so your claim is wrong, way wrong. Whats there to say about performance, it speaks for itself with the predator. I've got your silence hangin (you know where) STecate925. I'll let you ladies be now.

It amazes me as to how someone can have claimed to accomplished so much and then come out to a public forum and talk like a 12 year old. 'This bike sucks......My bikes better......blah blah blah......' You offer nothing at all to this discussion in the way of facts or figures. Maybe you should just let us be.

ATV Sport mag just did a shoot out with every sport quad, except the KFX700. They are one of the few usefull mags. They did electronic drags with everything (all stock quads) and the Predator was slightly slower then the Raptor, real close though. Would have been nice if they did the same with the KFX700 in there but no such luck.
Overall most of the testers voted the Predator the winner, and by the way there was a huge Predator ad in the mag.
Without major mods I don't see the V-Forse being a great drag quad though, its losing power in the belt tranny, losing power in the shaft drive, and pushing more weight then a Scrambler.
By the time you spent $3000 on mods to make it a fast drag quad, you'd still be getting beat by the other guy that spent $3000 on his raptor, DS650, Predator etc.
If the V-Forse is the quad of your dreams, buy it and have fun.
This Sport is suposed to be fun, not a blood pressure raising anger trip.
Funny how people act in here with there ZHITT talk and brand bashing, never seams to be that way out on the trails or at the dunes.

You've made some good points, but you've only listed the negatives to the V-Force. There are definitely some big positives.
The auto does lose some HP before it gets to the wheels, but this can be reduced with a good clutch setup.
An auto will ALWAYS have the advantage in a straight-line drag race if it is clutched correctly. Hit the gas and you're gone, no clutch lever to worry about. If my quad makes its best power at 7500 RPM's, I can clutch it to shift to that point and stay there throughout the entire race. No up and down in the RPM's that a manual will have.
The Kawi motor is the consensus best in the ATV world right now.
