OLD Bike!!!!
#1
I just got a really old dirt bike, that is a 125, and it needs rebuilt. The carb is inside the right side of the case (never seen that before). I am not framiliar with Kawasakis, so what do you guys think? Are there still parts available?

That is one of the old rotary disk side mount carbs. I had a 175 and 250 that had this set up. Back in the seventies this was a good design but the draw back was it made the engine wide.
Kawasaki still makes this motor in a 100cc size.
Not sure about parts though. Have you tried a search on google?

It sounds like you have an old F6 125. They made four Enduro style bikes with the carb in the case years the F5, F6, F7, F8, and F9
Does it look like this??

a yes. we recieved a bike like that although it runs. its nice oil injected two stroke. pick yourself up a clymer manual for those models such as kd and such. its like 10 dollars and it tells you everyhting from location of parts to how to fix ignition timing. once you get it runnning its a joy to ride. i own a kd 175 which i have picked up for free!

My dad bought me a new 1977 kd100 for x-mas of 77. This was before They went to green! It has a silver tank with orange stripes.
I knew that I needed to put oil in it (I was 8 yrs old) and it lived on Pennzoil 10w-40 in the injector tank for many years!
As far as power it's a dawg.....But it's 26 yrs old and still runs today!
Never even had the head off!
