Default I can't decide!!!

I am ordering a pipe for my KFX400 tomorrow, but I don't know if I want a Muzzy, or black powdercoated HMF!!!! I will not do airbox mods, or rejet, just want the sound, and I can't decide. The Muzzy is about 15-20 bucks cheaper, plus has free shipping. Help!!!!!

If your doing a pipe you have to rejet. Theres no way around it. Unless you dont mind blowing your engine. The HMF is a great pipe. Never seen a muzzy. Rejetting is easy.

To just put a slip-on pipe on, you do not have to rejet. I have never rejetted, nor has anyone I know reketted with just a slip-on. It will not hurt the machine.

The Z/KFX come from the factory right up to the lean side of jetting. So close too lean that if you take the air box lid off, it falls flat on its face. I would definitely rejet with a new pipe. Also a new pipe not jetted would probably actually lose power.
Other then trying to **** off your neighbors, why would you want to spend money on a pipe and lose power?

First, where I ride, noise is not an issue, second, for my needs, and riding style and places, I have plenty of power already, and whatever little bit of power I will lose from just changing pipes Ill
no| other mods, I will gain back the low end with a 13 tooth frt sprocket. And for the last time, it absolutely will not hurt the machine to put a pipe on with no other mods, including rejetting. You can think what you want, but it is a fact.
