where can I find one on the internet for the '03?

I bought one at Ron Ayers Kawasaki on line. WWW.RONAYERS.com. The part number is 9924-1261-03 and will not come up on their web-site search. If you e-mail them them will reply back with a price which I believe was in the low $30 range. This is for the 02 and 03 Prairie 650. It took about 10 days to receive.

 

Correction. The part number will now come up on Ron Ayers site and the price is $37.61.

Ron Ayers is a good source to look up an alternative price to Kawasaki direct which is always retail. I use the buy Kawasaki site to look up the part numbers for parts and accessories and then go to Ron Ayers site to check the price against buy Kawasaki. The only negative is ship time. It appears that Ron Ayers orders the parts from Kawasaki on the West coast and ships them to his location on the East coast and then ships them to the customer. This adds about 5 days to the ship time as they are not drop shipped. Buy Kawasaki is definitely faster but much more expensive. This can make a big difference on the big ticket accessories.
