Like clear guard or xpel? or like those smoke tinted plastic car ones? I have Clear Guard blue on mine and xpel on my car. both work good and are made up of a thick rubbery plastic w/3m glue. Clear Guard takes forever, like 3 weeks to get it though. Xpel takes like 2 days.

Sorry, I didn't specify... Clear Guard makes, clear, blue, and smoke tinted "thick film" that goes over your speedo and headlights. The speedo is always clear. I have never seen the smoke hard plastic "Covers" for our quads yet.

Bug Gun is good so far. I have had mine in the shop waiting on plastic & a belt for 3 weeks now. Although I am 11 hrs from my quads home location. I haven't seen it or heard it for 3 weeks but I did like it alot! I meanit sounded awesome. You need to do a little carb mods to fine tune it again, but when she's there, she's there!

Did you notice a decrease in the performance of your headlight when you installed the Blue Clear Guard covers? I'm thinking of ordering a set of blue guards, but we do a lot of night ridding, and I'm scared that it might not project enough light to be able to ride at night? Also when you ride at night is the light really blue?

The lights during the day look blue themselves, but @ night I didn't notice anything....till the mud covered them, then...Lights out!!

So, no they are not "blue" but the day look makes them look cool tinted blue. the lens at night is a little blue but the light output is normaly white/tanish.

Makes me feel better to wipe the mud covered lenses off than the uncovered, figure I might scratch them making a dull lens with all the mud on plain plastic. I've seen dull hardly able to see quad lights. These on our quads kick A$$! Very bright!

Look @ my pic 3 in the profile pics...that's the tinted blue lights.....

Thanks for all the great info. You're a pretty good salesman. I'm pretty much sold on this product. I just seen a picture of the smoke guards, and they look pretty good on the CAMO. Now I have to decide between Blue or Black. Decisions, Decisions I tell you.

In case anyone is interested in one of these kits, I had sent an email to Clear Guard inquiring about the product and here are some of the answers. BigMiks pretty much answered that questions, but I sent an email to them before I found out that he had the product also.

From Clear Guard:

The blue and Yellow tinted kits do not diminish the
performance of the headlight. The smoke (30% tint)will
diminish the light output.

The kit can be removed after installation, but can not
be reinstalled (adhesive will be damaged during
removal). We can ship to canada, I would need your
mailing address to determine actual Shipping cost
(FedEx and ground USPS).
